The hardware Equal-Cost Multi-Path table has been exceeded and at least one set of IPv4 unicast ECMP routes could not be added to the hardware. When this occurs, a single, non-ECMP route will remain in the LPM table in hardware. This message will be logged at most 1 time per hour when new sets of IPv4 unicast ECMP routes trigger this condition.
An associated debug-summary severity message "Card.IPv4FIB.ECMPTblFullEnt" can be enabled to view per-occurrence details including the subnet and next hop IP address. In addition, "debug hal show ipv4fib" can be used to determine which IP unicast route entries were not added to hardware as ECMP routes. Any entry in this display without the "F" (Forwarded to hardware) flag is not currently programmed in hardware. The "M" Multipath flag indicates the route is ECMP. Even an entry in this display with the "F" (Forwarded to hardware) flag may not be currently programmed in hardware on all nodes. Use the "debug hal show ipv4fib slot N" on a module or node, and look for the "S" (Setup in hardware) flag and "M" Multipath flags.
Notice
IPv4 route can not use sharing on all its gateways. Hardware ECMP Table full. Packets are HW forwarded across a subset of gateways. (Logged at most once per hour.)
